DeLA Namibia is a Namibian non-profit agricultural organization founded in June 2020 by Otuvalumenhu Tulipohamba Kaanduka and other Agriprenuers in June 2020 that incubates new strategies and solutions to the rural emerging Agriprenuers operating in the northern regions of Namibia and beyond. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps community members in agribusiness tap fully in agriculture, grow and reach their goals. Who We Are

At DeLA Namibia we help young rural Agriprenuers become more enterprising, help them tap fully in agriculture and to be given an opportunity to feed the nation and provide job opportunities to themselves and the unemployed thus enabling social functions. At DeLA Namibia we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

Activities

DeLA Namibia created this website to aid connect farmers to mentors, customers, investors and donors with weekly blogs-interviews with different rural Agripreneurs and pictures or short videos. The organization also aspire to have a weekly section in the local newspapers (namely the Namibian, SUN and New Era) to assist our farmers get the spotlight that will help them get customers or and investors. Once recognized as an organization DeLA Namibia wants to play a big role in the national agricultural activities, enabling it to recommend small farming activities to be funded by the government and other international non-governmental organization. Training and mentoring

At Developing Local Agriprenuers Namibia, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issue of lack of adequate and up-to-date skills in their respective area of farming. Training farmers and assigning them qualified mentors is no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
